Basic School and JHS Teachers Needed at Old Barrier

Requirements must have a valid ntc license (or proof of registration) and a national id. Must live within or near [insert location] for easy daily commuting. Must provide 2 verifiable guarantors (preferably from the education or corporate sector). Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in the relevant department (basic or jhs).

Responsibilities: Prepare weekly lesson notes based on the current GES/NaCCA curriculum. Deliver engaging lessons and manage classroom discipline effectively. Mark assignments, conduct continuous assessments (SBA), and track student progress. Organize and participate in extra-curricular activities (sports, clubs, etc.). Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and behavior. Skills Deep understanding of the New Curriculum and SBA grading system. Ability to maintain order and inspire a love for learning in children. Ability to use Microsoft Word/Excel for report writing and online research. Excellent spoken and written English; ability to explain complex topics simply. Strong emotional intelligence to handle children of different learning abilities.

Wascce / ssce certificate diploma in basic education (dbe) or bachelor’s degree in education (b.Ed).
