Intel's lga1700 socket (used by 12th, 13th, and 14th gen core cpus) can apply uneven pressure to the cpu through the stock independent loading mechanism (ilm). a contact frame replaces the stock retention bracket and distributes pressure more evenly across the cpu. this can improve contact between the cpu and cooler and may reduce temperatures.
key features
*compatible with intel lga1700 and lga18xx sockets
*cnc-machined aluminum construction
*helps prevent cpu bending/warping
*improves cooler-to-cpu contact
*may lower cpu temperatures depending on the system
*suitable for air coolers and aio liquid coolers
supports intel:
12th gen (alder lake)
13th gen (raptor lake)
14th gen (raptor lake refresh)
