Responsibilities
Prioritise safety and environmental protection in all road construction and maintenance activities.• Lead the design, planning and execution of road infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.• Oversee contractor performance, ensuring work adheres to project timelines, quality standards and safety regulations.• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules and documentation to ensure smooth execution.• Conduct regular inspections of civil works, including earthworks, pavement structures, excavations, foundations, drainage and concrete works.• Oversee electrical works associated with road infrastructure.• Ensure compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirements.• Maintain accurate project documentation and implement control and follow-up processes.
Requirements & Skills
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED & EXPERIENCE• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; professional qualification an advantage • Proven expertise in project tendering, evaluation and execution.• Strong Project management skills, with experience in planning, design and construction management.• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and familiarity with MS OFFICE (Excel, Word, Project)• Valid Ghana Driver's License.•SKILLS & ABILITY • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.A construction company is seeking an experienced
