Awareness Campaigns: Develop and deliver eye health education materials and campaigns to the public to raise awareness about eye conditions, prevention, and the importance of regular eye exams.
Networking: Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, schools, community leaders, and social service providers to foster partnerships.
Health Promotion: Actively promote the clinic's services to increase patient intake, specifically targeting at-risk or vulnerable populations.
Planning Camps: Coordinate and organize community eye screening camps, mobile units, and outreach events.
Site Management: Identify suitable locations for outreach, arrange for logistics, and ensure the necessary equipment is prepared.
Screening Support: Conduct basic, non-invasive vision screenings (e.g., using Snellen charts) and record results.
Data Collection: Collect, maintain, and analyze data on community health needs and outreach activities for reporting.
Requirements & Skills
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with diverse populations.
Mobility: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel frequently to various locations.
Technical Skills: Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and CRM systems.
Attributes: Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work independently.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Applicants should be at least senior high school graduates with at least 2years working experience.
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in community health, nursing, social work, or a related field is a plus.
