Part Time Seamstress Wanted

* Sew women’s dresses and other female clothing according to given designs and measurements. * Take accurate measurements and follow sewing patterns. * Cut and stitch fabrics neatly and accurately. * Make alterations and adjustments when required. * Ensure finished outfits have clean, neat finishing. * Work within agreed deadlines for customer orders. * Handle fabrics and sewing materials carefully. * Keep the sewing area clean and organised. * Assist with other sewing-related tasks when needed. * Work independently and maintain good attention to detail.

Requirements * Previous experience as a seamstress or dressmaker. * Must be able to sew women’s clothing independently. * Must be able to take accurate measurements. * Must understand basic pattern cutting and garment construction. * Must be able to work with different types of fabrics. * Must be neat and careful with finishing. * Must be reliable and able to meet deadlines. * Must be willing to work part-time based on agreed working days/hours. * Applicants around Tema Community 1 and nearby areas are preferred. Skills * Good sewing and stitching skills. * Good knowledge of garment construction. * Pattern cutting skills. * Accurate measurement skills. * Good finishing and attention to detail. * Ability to follow a design or sample correctly. * Ability to make alterations and corrections. * Good time management. * Ability to work independently. * Good communication skills

Minimum Qualifications Required * At least 1–2 years of practical sewing experience. * Must be able to sew women’s dresses independently. * Must have good knowledge of measurements, cutting, stitching and finishing. * Must be able to work with different fabrics. * Must be able to follow sewing instructions, patterns and designs accurately. * Sewing or fashion-related training is an advantage, but practical experience is more important. * Must be reliable, neat and willing to learn.
