The Physician Assistant will conduct patient consultations, take medical histories, perform physical examinations, assess patients' conditions, and provide appropriate treatment within their scope of practice. Responsibilities will also include requesting and interpreting relevant laboratory and diagnostic investigations, prescribing medications where legally authorized, providing health education and counselling, monitoring patients' progress, maintaining accurate medical records, referring patients when necessary, assisting with minor clinical procedures, and collaborating with doctors, nurses, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals. The Physician Assistant will also support the clinic's daily operations and comply with all applicable healthcare, professional, and patient-safety standards.

The candidate should have strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient-management skills, with good knowledge of common medical conditions, treatment procedures, health promotion, and disease prevention. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, together with the ability to communicate respectfully with patients from different cultural backgrounds. The candidate should be compassionate, patient-centred, responsible, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team. Good computer skills, accurate record-keeping, professional ethics, time management, confidentiality, and the ability to remain calm and effective in a clinical environment are essential. Previous experience in an outpatient clinic, hospital, or primary healthcare setting will be an advantage.

A recognized Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistantship, together with a valid professional registration and practicing licence from the relevant regulatory authority in Ghana. Candidates must have the legal authorization to practice as a Physician Assistant in Ghana and be willing to work at Atlantic Hongguang Clinic in Tema Community 12.
