Responsibilities
We are looking for a hardworking, responsible, and attentive Cleaner to keep our restaurant clean, hygienic, and presentable.
Responsibilities:
* Clean and maintain the restaurant, dining area, kitchen surroundings, washrooms, and assigned areas.
* Sweep, mop, dust, wash, disinfect, and clean surfaces regularly.
* Empty bins and properly dispose of waste.
* Attend to spills, dirt, and untidy areas promptly.
* Regularly check washrooms and ensure they are clean and properly stocked.
* Monitor cleaning supplies such as detergent, tissue, soap, disinfectant, garbage bags, etc.
* Inform the Supervisor **before cleaning items run out of stock**.
* Properly use, clean, and store cleaning tools and equipment.
* Report damaged equipment, maintenance problems, hazards, or hygiene concerns promptly.
* Remain attentive during working hours and take initiative without always waiting for instructions.
* Support the general cleanliness and hygiene standards of the restaurant
Requirements & Skills
* Previous cleaning experience is an advantage.
* Must be hardworking, neat, reliable, and punctual.
* Must pay attention to detail and be able to work with minimal supervision.
* Must maintain good personal hygiene.
* Must be respectful and able to work well with others.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Education: No formal academic degree is strictly required. A Basic Education Certificate (BECE), High School Diploma / WASSCE, or the ability to read and write simple English instructions and labels is typically sufficient.
