Must be fluent and highly proficient in spoken Mandarin Chinese and English.
Must be able to interpret conversations independently, smoothly and accurately.
Strong listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to understand different speaking styles, accents and work-related expressions.
Responsible, patient, professional and attentive to detail.
Able to work on-site in office, factory and customer-facing environments.
Ability to read Chinese is an advantage but is not compulsory.
Ability to speak Twi or any other Ghanaian local language is an advantage.
Previous interpretation experience or experience working with a Chinese company is preferred.
Formal Chinese-language qualifications or an HSK certificate are an advantage, but practical spoken Chinese proficiency is the main requirement.
