Pig Farm Workers Wanted

Feeding and watering livestock according to established feeding schedules and dietary requirements. Cleaning and sanitizing pens, stalls, and feeding equipment to maintain high standards of biosecurity and animal hygiene. Monitoring animal health and behavior, and promptly reporting any signs of illness, injury, or distress to the farm manager. Assisting with the movement, sorting, and handling of pigs between pens, loading areas, or treatment stations. Performing general farm maintenance tasks, such as repairing fences, clearing pathways, and maintaining equipment or facilities.

Physical fitness and stamina. Basic animal handling experience or comfort around large livestock, including understanding pig behavior and safe movement techniques. Reliability and punctuality to adhere strictly to early morning schedules, feeding routines, and daily farm operations. Strong biosecurity awareness and willingness to follow strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to prevent the spread of disease among the herd. Observation skills and attention to detail to spot early warning signs of illness, injury, or equipment malfunctions and report them promptly.

Proven work ethic demonstrated through a willingness to tackle physically demanding tasks, long shifts, and hands-on farm labor without hesitation. Dependability and strong attendance habits to ensure the farm's daily feeding, cleaning, and operational routines run smoothly every single day. Willingness to follow instructions carefully and adapt quickly to the practical, day-to-day methods used on the farm. Positive attitude and teamwork skills to work effectively alongside other farm staff and management in a fast-paced environment.
