Job Vacancies - Restaurant and Bar Staff Needed

COOK Prepare food before the arrival of guests and ensure preparation is completed before service. Make adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific dietary requirements. Operate various kitchen appliances and equipment safely, such as ovens, grills, blenders and stand mixers. Portion, arrange and garnish food according to client preferences and Azmera standards. Prepare necessary sauces and accompaniments before meal service begins. Assist in estimating expected food requirements and organise preparation accordingly. Assist other cooks during the food assembly process. Assist with developing and testing new recipes when required. Clean the kitchen/work area after service. KITCHEN ASSISTANT Properly clean and sanitise all food preparation areas according to established hygiene standards. Wash and appropriately store cooking appliances, instruments, utensils and cutting boards. Assist cooks with the preparation of food, including mix and pluses.

COOK Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role is an advantage. Ability to prepare meals according to recipes and established standards. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Good attention to detail and cleanliness. Must be reliable, hardworking and professional. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with other kitchen staff. KITCHEN ASSISTANT Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or in a similar role is an advantage. Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices. Ability to clean and sanitise kitchen areas, utensils and equipment properly. Ability to follow instructions from cooks and supervisors. Good teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment. Must be hardworking, reliable and punctual. Willingness to learn

COOK WASSCE/SSCE or equivalent. Certificate or training in Catering, Cookery, Food Production, Hospitality Management or a related field is an added advantage. Previous experience working as a Cook in a restaurant, hotel or similar hospitality environment is an advantage KITCHEN ASSISTANT WASSCE/SSCE or equivalent. Certificate or training in Catering, Food Production, Hospitality or a related field is an added advantage. Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, hotel or catering environment is an advantage.
