Responsibilities
To deliver engaging robotics/coding sessions using mBot kits and mBlock software (block-based and Python programming).
Teach concepts like sensor integration, automation, and basic AI (e.g., obstacle avoidance, line following).
Adapt curricula to diverse learning styles, including neurodiverse students (e.g., children with autism).
Organize mini-projects or showcases to demonstrate student progress.
Collaborate with school staff to integrate STEM into existing curricula.
Requirements & Skills
Experience teaching coding/robotics (e.g.mBot, Scratch) or STEM subjects.
Proficiency in block-based programming (mBlock/Scratch); Python is a plus.
Patience, creativity, and experience working with children aged 8-12.
Background in education, engineering, or IT is preferred.
Experience preparing students for robotics competitions is a plus.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Hnd/ bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, robotics or a related field.
Strong knowledge of block-based programming languages (scratch, mblock) and text-based languages (python, c++).
Familiar with educational robotics platforms (mbot, lego mindstorms).
