Regulatory & Licensing: Act as the primary liaison with the Pharmacy Council of Ghana and the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA). Ensure all licenses, premises standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) meet current legal requirements.
Clinical Governance & Patient Care: Dispense medications accurately, provide expert counseling on prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, and monitor patient health outcomes.
Enhanced Services: Provide value-added community health services such as blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose testing, and rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs for malaria).
Inventory & Controlled Drugs: Monitor stock levels and expiry dates to ensure product viability. Maintain accurate records for the Dangerous Drugs Register (DDR) and oversee the secure storage of all medications.
Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacy assistants and support staff. Maintain a tidy, professional, and patient-friendly environment.
