Experienced Industrial Machine Operator / Mechanical Technician

Operate and adjust our toilet tissue rewinding machine. * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults. * Troubleshoot motors, sensors, electrical controls, pneumatic cylinders, valves and air-pressure systems. * Adjust winding tension, roller alignment and machine settings to maintain consistent product quality. * Carry out repairs, preventive maintenance and replacement of faulty components. * Identify and resolve production problems to minimise downtime and waste. * Assist with operating and maintaining the cutting and packaging machinery. * Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.

Proven hands-on experience operating, troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery. * Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills — mandatory. * Electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding experience — mandatory. * Pneumatic system troubleshooting and repair experience — mandatory. * Ability to diagnose and resolve machine faults independently. * Experience with toilet tissue rewinders, paper converting or similar industrial machinery is preferred. * Ability to work with minimal supervision. * Formal engineering qualifications are not compulsory.
