Ekow Wood, also known as Woodie or Babawood, is a passionate 'Melomaniac' or 'Melophile' with a strong affinity for music. His music journey began 14 years ago as a keyboardist in high school and later received piano lessons. He excelled in classical music during high school, inspiring him to teach others how to play. At the age of 20, his music production career officially started when he discovered and fell in love with the software "Fruity Loops 10."
Ekow's classical background made adapting to the studio's freestyle vibe challenging, but he honed his skills and started producing music for various genres. He has worked with notable artists like Sarkodie, Blaqbonez, and Efya. His ultimate goal is to create diverse genres under Ghanaian Highlife music with a futuristic twist.
