Responsibilities
Manually remove inner tubes and other components from vehicle tyres. Separate rubber tyres from inner tubes and metal wheel rims using tyre levers, metal bars, and other approved tools. Ensure tyres are properly deflated before dismantling. Inspect tyres, inner tubes, and rims for punctures, cuts, cracks, excessive wear, and other defects. Sort dismantled tyres, inner tubes, and rubber materials according to their condition and intended use. Handle, move, lift, and stack tyres and inner tubes safely. Assist with loading and unloading tyres, tubes, rims, and other workshop materials. Keep the tyre dismantling area clean, organized, and free from hazards. Maintain and properly store all tools and equipment used during dismantling. Follow all company health and safety procedures. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety boots and gloves. Report damaged tools, unsafe working conditions, damaged tyres, and defective rims.
Requirements & Skills
Ability to use tyre levers, metal bars, and basic hand tools. Good physical strength and stamina. Ability to safely handle heavy tyres, inner tubes, and wheel rims. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to perform manual and physically demanding work. Previous experience in tyre dismantling, tyre fitting, vulcanizing, automotive workshop operations, rubber processing, or related manual work is an advantage.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Basic education or equivalent practical experience. Formal technical or vocational qualifications in tyre fitting, automotive mechanics, vulcanizing, or a related field are an advantage but not mandatory. Previous practical experience in tyre dismantling, tyre fitting, vulcanizing, automotive workshop operations, or similar manual work will be an added advantage.

The position requires physical strength, good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
