Aneroid sphygmomanometer is a device used to manually measure blood pressure. It consists of an inflatable cuff, a bulb to inflate the cuff, and a pressure gauge (manometer) that displays the pressure reading. The user manually inflates the cuff, listens for Korotkoff sounds (pulse sounds) with a stethoscope, and reads the systolic and diastolic pressures from the gauge.
