Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Washing & Treating: Wash clients' hair cleanly, apply deep conditioners (steaming), and dry hair properly using a hand dryer or standing dryer.
Basic Braiding & Twisting: Do neat cornrows (lines), single braids, and basic twists.
Weaving & Rasta: Install basic weaved-in extensions and popular local styles like Rasta or knotless braids.
Salon Care & Cleaning: Keep the salon neat by sweeping hair, washing towels, and cleaning the rollers, combs, and sinks.
Customer Service: Welcome clients warmly, offer them water or a seat, and help senior stylists prepare their tools.
Willingness to Learn: Learn advanced styling, coloring, and chemical relaxing from the shop owner or senior stylists.
Requirements & Skills
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of hair washing, blow-drying, and simple braiding.
certificate from a beauty school or proof of completing an apprenticeship is a plus (but not strictly required if you are talented).
Must be respectful, neat, punctual, and ready to work hard.
Good communication skills
