Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of local and continental dishes to a high standard.
* Ensure consistency in food taste, quality, and presentation.
* Supervise kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness at all times.
* Monitor food inventory and assist with stock management.
* Train and guide kitchen assistants when necessary.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
* Support menu development and introduce new meal ideas.
Requirements & Skills
* Proven experience as a chef or cook in a restaurant, catering service, or food business.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen management.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Good organizational and communication skills.
* Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
* Creative and passionate about food.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
* Certificate, Diploma, or relevant training in Catering, Hospitality, or Culinary Arts is an advantage.
* Minimum of 2 years of practical cooking experience.
* Ability to provide references from previous employers is preferred.
