Driver Needed - Yango Cargo Delivery

Key Responsibilities - Safely operate the company vehicle for Yango Cargo deliveries. - Pick up the vehicle at 8:00 AM and return/park it by 8:00 PM daily. - Accept and complete delivery requests assigned through the Yango platform. - Pick up and deliver packages/goods to customers safely and on time. - Handle all cash, sales, and other items provided for daily operations responsibly. - Keep accurate records of daily trips, deliveries, and sales. - Maintain good communication with customers and management using the company-provided phone. - Take proper care of the vehicle and report any mechanical issues, damage, or incidents promptly. - Follow traffic laws and company guidelines at all times. - Submit the vehicle, phone, daily sales, and other work-related items at the end of each working day. In short: We need someone who can be trusted with the vehicle, deliveries, cash, and company equipment while maintaining good customer service.

Requirements & Skills Requirements - Valid Driver’s Licence (Category B or above) - Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience - Must reside in Ogbojo or nearby areas — East Legon, Adenta, Botwe, etc. - Good knowledge of Accra and surrounding routes - Must be willing to work 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM - Must be comfortable with the vehicle being parked at the designated location each evening - Clean driving record and good driving history - Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or Yango services is an advantage Skills & Qualities - Excellent driving and road-safety skills - Reliable and punctual - Trustworthy and accountable - Good customer service and communication skills - Ability to use a smartphone and navigation/GPS - Good time-management and route-planning skills - Careful handling of cash, packages, and company property - Professional, respectful, and presentable - Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with customers and traffic challenges.

Minimum Qualification Requirements - Minimum education: JHS/SHS certificate or equivalent - Valid Driver’s Licence – Category B or above - Minimum 5 years of driving experience - Previous professional/commercial driving experience preferred - Basic ability to use a smartphone, GPS and navigation apps - Good knowledge of Accra and surrounding areas - Must be 18 years or older - Must be able to work 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM - Must live in or around Ogbojo, East Legon, Adenta, Botwe or nearby areas.
