A restaurant cleaner keeps the place safe, hygienic, and welcoming for customers and staff. Cleanliness is a big part of food safety and customer experience.
*1. Front-of-House Cleaning*
- *Sweep and mop floors* - dining area, entrance, hallways
- *Wipe and sanitize tables, chairs* after every customer
- *Clean windows, doors, and mirrors*
- *Empty trash bins* in dining area and restock napkins, tissue
- *Clean restrooms* - toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors. Restock soap, tissue, hand dryer
- *Dust surfaces* - shelves, picture frames, air vents, light fixtures
*2. Kitchen & Back-of-House Cleaning*
- *Wash dishes* and utensils if there’s no dishwasher, or load/unload dishwasher
- *Clean and sanitize food prep areas*, counters, and cutting boards
- *Mop kitchen floors* and degrease tiles to prevent slips
- *Empty kitchen trash* and take out garbage to dumpster
- *Clean sinks, drains, and grease traps*
- *Wipe down equipment* - stoves, fridges
