Responsibilities
Consult with clients to understand their preferred weavon styles, hair needs, and desired appearance. Install, sew in, glue, and style different types of weavons according to clients’ preferences. Prepare clients’ natural hair by washing, conditioning, drying, and braiding it before installing the weavon. Cut, trim, shape, and blend weavons to achieve a neat and natural-looking finish. Style weavons using curling, straightening, and other suitable styling techniques. Remove old weavons carefully without damaging the client’s natural hair or scalp. Advise clients on suitable weavon types, hairstyles, hair care products, and maintenance practices. Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of styling tools, equipment, workstations, and hair extensions. Keep up to date with current weave-on trends, installation methods, and styling techniques. Schedule and manage client appointments efficiently. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Requirements & Skills
Practical experience in installing and styling different types of weavons.
Knowledge of sew-in, glue-in, closure, frontal, and wig installation methods.
Understanding of hair and scalp care.
Ability to use salon tools and equipment safely.
Weavon installation and removal.
Hair washing, conditioning, drying, and preparation.
Cutting, trimming, shaping, and blending extensions.
Curling, straightening, and styling weavons.
Closure, frontal, and wig customisation.
Colour matching and basic hair colouring.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
A minimum of a Junior High School certificate, Senior High School certificate, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum Experience
2 years
The Weavon Hair Stylist is responsible for consulting with clients, preparing natural hair, and installing and styling different types of weavons, wigs, closures, and frontals. The stylist will cut, trim, blend, curl, straighten, maintain, and safely remove hair extensions according to clients’ preferences.
The role also involves advising clients on suitable hairstyles, hair products, and proper maintenance practices. The stylist must maintain clean and hygienic tools and workstations, manage appointments efficiently, provide excellent customer service, and follow all salon health and safety procedures.
