Responsibilities
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Utilizing computerized testing tools, multimeters, and technical schematics to pinpoint mechanical and electrical failures.Preventive Maintenance: Executing scheduled fluid changes, part lubrications, and safety inspections to minimize heavy machinery downtime.Component Repairs: Rebuilding or replacing faulty diesel engines, transmissions, steering, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.Record Keeping & Compliance: Documenting all repairs, ordering replacement parts, and completing detailed service reports for warranty and audit.
Requirements & Skills
Technical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems, including transmissions, pneumatic brakes, and computerized engine controls.Physical & Environmental: Capability to lift heavy parts, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.Tools: Proficiency in using heavy-duty hand tools, diagnostic scanners, and hoists.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Education & Certification: Relevant vocational/technical certificates, basic education, or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Auto Mechanics are highly preferred.
