Responsibilities
Excavating trenches, foundations, and holes according to blueprints or project specifications.
Loading and unloading heavy materials like dirt, gravel, sand, and debris into dump trucks.
Clearing and leveling land, removing tree stumps, rocks, and general construction debris.
Operating specialized attachments such as hydraulic breakers, augers, or grapples.
Requirements & Skills
Commercial Driver's License (CDL): A Class A or B CDL is frequently required to drive the heavy trailers that transport excavators to work sites.
Heavy Equipment Certification: Completion of a recognized training program or an active operating engineers union apprenticeship.
Safety & Regulatory Cards: Valid OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety cards or local equivalents for construction site access.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the mining field
