Experienced Solar PV Installation Technician

1. Independently install residential and commercial solar PV systems. 2. Install solar panels, mounting structures, hybrid/off-grid inverters and lithium batteries. 3. Complete AC/DC electrical wiring, circuit breakers, isolators, earthing and protection devices. 4. Configure inverter settings and battery charging parameters. 5. Test, commission and troubleshoot solar power systems. 6. Diagnose electrical faults and perform maintenance and repairs. 7. Ensure all installations meet electrical safety standards. 8. Provide technical support and explain system operation to customers.

1. Minimum 2 years of hands-on solar PV installation experience. 2. Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring and electrical safety. 3. Must be able to install and troubleshoot solar systems independently. 4. Experience with hybrid/off-grid inverters, lithium batteries and solar panels. 5. Ability to calculate voltage, current, power, cable sizes and system loads. 6. Familiar with AC/DC breakers, MC4 connectors, earthing and surge protection. 7. Skilled in using multimeters and electrical testing equipment. 8. Able to read electrical wiring diagrams. 9. Responsible, reliable and able to work without supervision. Only experienced technicians should apply.

Technical or vocational training in Electrical Installation, Electronics, Renewable Energy or a related field is preferred. Relevant electrical or solar installation certificates are an advantage. A minimum of 2 years of verifiable practical solar PV installation experience is mandatory. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to independently install, test and troubleshoot complete solar power systems.
