Inspect, diagnose, service and repair motorcycles.
Carry out routine engine servicing and maintenance.
Diagnose and repair engine, clutch, gearbox and fuel system problems.
Repair motorcycle electrical and wiring faults.
Service and replace brakes, tyres, chains, sprockets and suspension parts.
Assemble, inspect and test new motorcycles before delivery.
Diagnose customer complaints and identify the correct parts required for repair.
Carry out after-sales maintenance and repair work.
Keep tools and the workshop clean and properly organized.
Test motorcycles after repair to ensure they are safe and working correctly.
Requirements & Skills
- Practical experience repairing motorcycles.
- Able to independently diagnose common motorcycle faults.
- Good knowledge of petrol motorcycle engines and electrical systems.
- Able to repair brakes, clutch, gearbox, carburetor/fuel system, chains and suspension.
- Able to use common motorcycle repair tools correctly.
- Basic motorcycle electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Careful and responsible when handling customer motorcycles.
- Honest, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic English communication skills; Twi is an advantage.
- Knowledge of electric motorcycles is an advantage but not compulsory.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Vocational, technical or apprenticeship training in motorcycle or automobile mechanics is preferred.
Applicants without formal certificates may also apply if they have strong practical motorcycle repair experience and can demonstrate their skills during a practical test.
