Finance Officer

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 1. Financial Operations & Accounting • Manage the Company's day-to-day financial and accounting operations. • Maintain accurate and complete accounting records and supporting documentation. • Process payments, receipts, invoices, journals and other financial transactions. • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, supplier balances and customer accounts. • Prepare bank and other relevant account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. • Maintain proper cash management and monitor cash flows. • Maintain an effective filing and documentation system for financial records. 2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance • Prepare and file applicable GRA tax returns and statutory declarations within prescribed deadlines. • Ensure compliance with applicable Ghanaian tax laws and regulations, including VAT, PAYE, withholding taxes and other relevant statutory obligations. • Maintain accurate tax records and schedules. • Reconcile tax a

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements: • HND in Accounting from a recognized tertiary institution. • A minimum of three (3) years' relevant professional experience in accounting or finance. • Practical knowledge of Ghanaian taxation, including VAT, PAYE and withholding tax. • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Experience in budgeting, cost control, cash-flow management and financial analysis. • Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office. • Experience in an engineering, construction, equipment supply, manufacturing, technical services or similar business environment will be an advantage. • Membership of or progress towards a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ICA-Ghana or CIMA will be an advantage.
