Responsibilities
Teach twi*: deliver ges ghanaian language curriculum - grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, composition
*speaking + culture*: lead oral twi, proverbs, greetings, storytelling, cultural activities
*lesson notes*: prepare schemes of work + lesson plans per ges syllabus weekly
*bece prep*: coach jhs students for bece ghanaian language paper 1, 2 & 3
*assess*: mark exercises, tests, keep records + report to parents
*cultural events*: organize twi drama, poetry, durbar day performances
Requirements & Skills
Native/fluent twi speaker. Must read + write twi correctly
must live in kotobabi, nima, maamobi, pig farm, alajo, or nearby accra areas
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Diploma/degree in ghanaian language, education. College of education cert preferred
Minimum Experience
2 years
We are looking for a fluent Twi-speaking teacher to teach Akan/Twi language, proverbs, and culture Primary -JHS students. Help our students speak correct Twi and connect with their roots.
