Heavy-duty 4′′ (≈100 mm) construction, with both suction and discharge ports sized at 4′′. Designed for “trash” or debris-laden water (not just clear water) — it can handle solids up to about 1 1/16′′ (~27 mm) in diameter. Equipped with a durable pump section: cast-iron volute and impeller, wear plates, and a self-priming centrifugal design. Powered by a Honda commercial-grade OHV engine: model GX390 (389 cc) for the WT40 version. Self-priming capability: designed to be able to draw from a suction lift and purge air automatically (important in applications where suction hose is long or below pump). Heavy tubular steel frame, full engine-protective cage/mount, vibration isolation mounts. These features improve durability and ease of transport onsite.
