Lavender oil is one of nature’s most powerful and versatile remedies for the body and mind.- relax the joints and muscles
- reduce stress
- heal skin infections
- protect the hair
- repel insects and lice
Thanks to its antiseptic benefits, lavender oil can naturally soothe sunburn, calm the skin after hair removal, treat anxiety-related eczema, and activate the healing of insect bites and cuts.
One of lavender oil’s main uses is to help the body unwind, relax and de-stress after a long day and get a good night’s sleep.
To treat skin complaints on the face and body, apply to a cotton pad and use on the affected areas in the same way as tea tree oil. For use on the hair, massage into the fibres and scalp.
For a restful night’s sleep, add a few drops of lavender oil to a hot bath or the underside of a pillow.
