Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security Control access to premises by checking identification and authorizing entry Prevent unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents Write accurate daily reports and incident reports Monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment Conduct routine security checks of buildings, gates, and surroundings Enforce company rules, safety procedures, and security policies Provide assistance and directions to staff, clients, and visitors Report suspicious activities or security breaches to management immediately Perform bag and vehicle checks when required Work with emergency services such as police or fire service when necessary

Strong observation and attention to detail Good communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies Physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for long hours Basic knowledge of security procedures and safety practices Ability to operate CCTV and other surveillance systems Good judgment and problem-solving skills Honesty, integrity, and a high sense of responsibility Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision Basic report writing skills Teamwork and interpersonal skills Time management and punctuality

Minimum of junior high school (Jhs) or senior high school (shs) certificate previous experience in security work is an advantage (but not always required) must be physically fit and medically sound basic ability to read and write (for report writing and communication) no criminal record (background check required) must be disciplined, honest, and reliable ability to work day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays basic knowledge of security operations or willingness to undergo training valid national id (e.G., ghana card)
