Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant’s menu and standards. Ensure food is tasty, well-presented, and prepared on time. Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, seasoning, and portioning. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and cooking area. Properly store and handle food items to prevent spoilage and contamination. Monitor food supplies and inform management when ingredients are running low. Follow recipes, portion sizes, and cooking instructions. Assist with general kitchen duties when required.

Good cooking and food preparation skills. Knowledge of Ghanaian/local dishes and restaurant-style cooking. Ability to work quickly and efficiently during busy periods. Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety. Ability to follow recipes and instructions. Good time-management skills. Teamwork and good communication. Ability to work under pressure. Attention to cleanliness and detail. Minimum Requirements Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant, eatery, chop bar, or similar food establishment. Must have good knowledge of food preparation and cooking. Must be clean, responsible, hardworking, and punctual. Ability to work flexible hours as required by the restaurant. Relevant cooking experience is preferred; formal culinary qualifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
