Hairstylist and Braider Needed

Braider Responsibilities Perform a variety of braiding styles (box braids, cornrows, knotless braids, twists, etc.) Prepare hair by washing, detangling, and sectioning properly Ensure neat, consistent, and long-lasting braids Advise clients on suitable styles and proper hair care Maintain hygiene and sanitize tools regularly Manage time efficiently to meet client appointments Stay updated on trending braiding techniques and styles Hairstylist (Frontal, Ponytails, etc.) Responsibilities Install and style frontal wigs, closures, and sew-ins Create sleek ponytails, updos, and other modern styles Customize wigs (plucking, tinting, styling) for a natural finish Use styling tools (flat irons, curlers, dryers) safely and effectively Consult with clients to achieve desired looks Maintain clean workstations and sanitized tools Recommend hair products and aftercare routines Keep up with current hair trends and techniques

Requirements Proven experience as a braider and/or hairstylist (frontal installations, ponytails, etc.) Ability to work with different hair types and textures Portfolio or photos of previous work Good understanding of hair hygiene and scalp care Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends Professional certification or training (preferred but not mandatory) Skills Strong braiding and styling techniques (neatness, precision, speed) Expertise in frontal/closure installation, wig customization, and sleek styling Attention to detail and creativity Excellent customer service and communication skills Time management and ability to handle multiple clients Knowledge of current hair trends and techniques Ability to recommend styles and products suited to clients

Minimum Qualification Requirements Basic training in hairdressing or braiding (formal or apprenticeship) At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in braiding and/or hairstyling Ability to perform core services: neat braiding, frontal/closure installation, and sleek ponytails Basic knowledge of hair care, scalp health, and hygiene practices Ability to communicate effectively with clients and understand their preferences A simple portfolio or evidence of previous work (photos/videos)
