Responsibilities
Waitresses -Warmly welcome guests, present menus, and offer recommendations. -Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen. Serve meals promptly, ensure quality, and clear tables efficiently. Process payments (cash, POS, MoMo) securely and accurately. Caterers Assist in planning menus and logistics for off-site events and banquets. Manage the setup, breakdown, and safe transport of food and equipment. Monitor food temperatures and levels during service, ensuring strict hygiene. Deliver excellent, professional guest service at all events. Cooks Prep ingredients and set up cooking stations before shifts begin. Cook local and continental dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all meals meet flavor, temperature, and presentation quality. Maintain strict kitchen sanitation following local health guidelines.
Requirements & Skills
Waitresses -Proven work experience as a Waitress or Server in a fast-paced dining environment, possessing excellent customer service and active listening skills. -Must demonstrate the ability to memorize menus, daily specials, and allergy information, while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor under pressure during peak dining hours. Caterers Substantial experience in event catering, banquet operations, or large-scale food preparation, coupled with a strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills are required to coordinate complex event timelines, manage diverse buffet setups, and ensure seamless, high-quality service for large groups of guests. Cooks Must possess meticulous attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, and the physical stamina to stand for extended periods while executing orders precisely and efficiently under tight deadlines.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Waitresses -Basic mathematics skills for calculating bills and confidently handling cash and Mobile Money (MoMo) payments. -Strong verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and at least one widely spoken local language (such as Twi or Ga). A minimum of 6 months of prior experience in customer service, a restaurant, or an eatery is preferred but not required. Caterers Minimum of 1 year of experience in event catering, banquet service, or high-volume food service. Ability to physically manage heavy items (like chafing dishes and bulk ingredients) and stand for extended periods during events. Cooks Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience working as a cook in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, or busy eatery. Familiarity with standard kitchen equipment, local sanitation regulations, and safe food handling practices.
