Herbal Doctor / Herbal Medicine Practitioner

Conduct client consultations and obtain relevant medical and lifestyle histories. Assess clients and recommend appropriate herbal or natural medicine treatments within professional scope. Prepare, prescribe, dispense, or administer herbal remedies where legally permitted. Explain dosage, method of use, possible side effects, precautions, and expected outcomes. Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment recommendations when appropriate. Recognize cases requiring referral to a medical doctor or other qualified healthcare professional. Relevant qualification in Herbal Medicine, Herbal Pharmacology, or a related field. Valid professional registration/licence where required by law. Previous experience working as a herbal medicine practitioner is an advantage. Strong knowledge of medicinal plants, herbal preparations, dosage, contraindications, and potential herb–drug interactions. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to assess clients carefully and maintain professional confidentiality. Strong ethical standards and a genuine interest in natural and complementary healthcare. Diploma, Degree, or other recognized professional qualification in Herbal Medicine, Herbal Pharmacology, or a related field. Must have relevant professional registration/licensing where required.
