Veterinary Officer Needed at Ultimate Farms

1.Monitor the health and welfare of layer birds through regular inspections. 2.Diagnose, treat, and manage poultry diseases and health conditions. 3.Develop and implement vaccination and preventive healthcare programs. 4.Advise management on nutrition, housing, environmental conditions, and flock management to improve productivity.

1.Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM). 2.Registered with the Veterinary Council of Ghana (or eligible for registration). 3.2–5 years of experience in poultry, piggery, dairy, or mixed livestock production. 4.Experience implementing farm biosecurity and vaccination programs. 5.Excellent animal diagnosis and treatment skills. 6.Vaccination and preventive healthcare planning.

*Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) / Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)** from a recognized institution. * Valid registration or eligibility for registration with the Veterinary Council** (e.g., Veterinary Council of Ghana where applicable). *Practical knowledge of poultry health management**, including disease prevention, vaccination, and biosecurity practices. * Basic experience in livestock or poultry production** (previous layer farm experience is an added advantage). * Ability to conduct animal health assessments, diagnose common poultry diseases, and implement treatment plans. * Good communication, record-keeping, and reporting skills. * Ability to work effectively in a farm environment and collaborate with farm management and staff. *Preferred Experience: * 1–3 years of experience working with commercial poultry farms, especially layer production systems. * Experience managing flock health programs, vaccination schedules, and disease control measures.
