Teaching Vacancy

TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES * Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Lower Primary learners. * Prepare lesson notes, teaching and learning materials. * Create a safe, friendly and stimulating classroom environment. * Teach and support pupils according to their individual learning needs. * Assess pupils’ progress and keep accurate academic records. * Manage classroom behaviour and maintain discipline positively. * Communicate effectively with parents and school management. * Participate in school activities, meetings and professional development. * Supervise pupils during break, transitions and other school activities. * Promote good manners, independence, confidence and respect among learners. * Work cooperatively with other teachers and staff. * Maintain cleanliness, order and proper care of classroom materials.

TEACHER REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS Requirements * Minimum Diploma/Degree in Education or a related field. * Experience teaching Lower Primary is an advantage. * Good knowledge of the Lower Primary curriculum. * Must be hardworking, punctual and responsible. * Must be patient and passionate about working with children. * Must be willing to work as part of a team. * Good character and professional attitude. Key Skills * Excellent classroom management skills. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons. * Ability to assess and monitor pupils’ progress. * Creativity in teaching and use of teaching-learning materials. * Ability to handle children with patience and care. * Good organisation and time-management skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with parents and school management.
