• Assist in basic food preparation (chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, assembling meals)
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans promptly
• Receive and store kitchen supplies and ingredients properly
• Dispose of waste and keep kitchen floors clean and hazard-free
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
• Support cooks and kitchen staff as needed during busy hours
• Help with stock rotation and alert management of low inventory
