The successful applicant will be responsible for:
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate ICT lessons for Primary and Junior High School pupils.
• Teaching both theoretical and practical ICT skills in line with the approved Ghana Education Service curriculum.
• Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, class exercises, assignments and examinations.
• Teaching pupils essential computer skills, including typing, Microsoft Office applications, internet use, digital safety and basic coding where appropriate.
• Assessing pupils’ performance, maintaining accurate academic records and providing additional support to pupils who need it.
• Preparing JHS pupils adequately for internal and external assessments.
• Supervising pupils during practical computer lessons and ensuring the responsible use of ICT equipment.
• Managing the computer laboratory and keeping computers, accessories and other equipment properly organized.

Requirements & Skills
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in ICT Education, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least one year of experience teaching ICT or Computing at the Primary or Junior High School level.
• Experience teaching JHS pupils and successfully preparing candidates for the BECE will be a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of the Ghana Education Service curriculum for Primary and JHS Computing.
• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet applications and basic computer operations.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software installation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to plan lessons, prepare teaching materials, conduct assessments and maintain accurate pupil records.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, age-appropriate language.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Minimum qualification: Diploma or HND in ICT, Information Technology, Computer Science, ICT Education or a closely related field.
A bachelor’s degree or recognised professional teaching qualification will be an advantage.
