Nonino first created in November 1984. The Monovitignios series had already appeared 11 years previously. Monovitigno means that the grapes of a single grape variety are used to create a brandy (here Fragolino) and so the distillate retains the taste typical of the grape variety. Tasting notes Nose: very youthful, fruity freshness with dense wine notes Palate: soft, well-rounded texture with beautiful fruit play and silky spice Finish: long, fruity finish Allergen information: contains sulfites Nonino can proudly say that they also played a part in getting grappa out of the dusty, dingy drawer of cheap leftover spirits. As early as 1973, the family business from Friuli presented its first grappa, made from just a single grape variety (a novelty at the time).
