It's the first Indian craft gin from Radico Khaitan - the folks behind Rampur whisky! Jaisalmer is named after the eponymous city, and the tipple pays homage to imperial age of Maharajas and Maharanis. It's produced using copper pot stills at a distillery based in the foothills of the Himalayas. 11 botanicals are used to create the gin, seven of which come from India, including coriander and vetiver, orange and lemon peel, cubeb pepper berries, lemongrass and Darjeeling green tea leaves. This gin would be a fabulous start for any delicious gin-based cocktail. Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Juniper takes centre stage, with sweet citrus peel peeking through alongside liquorice, with a lovely prominent and refreshing spicy note.
