An electronic blood pressure monitor automatically measures your blood pressure and heart rate to help you track your cardiovascular health from home.
How It Works
1. Inflation: When you press the Power button, the internal air pump inflates the arm cuff until it squeezes your arm enough to temporarily stop blood flow in the main artery.
2. Measurement: As the cuff gradually deflates, built-in digital sensors detect the vibrations (oscillations) of blood starting to flow back through your artery.
3. Calculation: The internal microcomputer calculates your Systolic pressure (peak arterial pressure during a heartbeat) and Diastolic pressure along with your pulse rate per minute.
4. Display & Storage: It shows the results on the screen, compares them against World Health Organization (WHO) risk categories via the color bar.
