Responsibilities
Sew, alter, and repair garments, especially dresses, according to customer/designer specifications
- Take accurate measurements and do fittings for clients
- Cut fabric using patterns and ensure quality stitching and finishing
- Maintain sewing machines and keep workspace clean and organized
- Work closely with the fashion designer
Requirements & Skills
Proven experience in dressmaking or garment sewing
- Skilled in using industrial sewing machines, overlockers, and hand-sewing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret patterns and measurements
- Good eye for detail, neat finishing, and quality control
- Basic knowledge of different fabrics and how to handle them
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure
Minimum Qualification Requirements
At least 1-2 years experience as a seamstress/dressmaker
