Mud Gas Separator
HYQ series mud gas separator (poor boy degasser) is a special equipment for the primary degassing of gas intrusion drilling fluid. It is mainly used to remove air bubbles with diameters greater than 3mm from drilling fluid, in order to prevent blowouts, well kicks, and other major accidents.
The drilling mud gas separator produced by HL Petroleum can feed fluid directly from the rotary blowout preventer, or from the
choke manifold to separate large bubbles. The processed drilling fluid contains small bubbles, which are vibrated by the mud shale
shaker. After sieving, it enters the vacuum degasser for routine degassing, and finally completes the degassing process to ensure
safe drilling operations.
