Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Developing and executing tailored sales plans for the region to align with overall organisational goals. Team Leadership: Recruiting, training, mentoring, and evaluating the performance of sales representatives to ensure sales targets are met. Performance Tracking: Utilising CRM software to monitor sales metrics (velocity, conversion rates), analyse data, and prepare accurate forecasts. Market Intelligence: Monitoring local competitors, identifying new business opportunities, and adapting product offerings to regional market trends. Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, high-value clients, and distributors within the territory. Budget Management: Managing regional sales budgets and ensuring cost-effective operations.

Leadership and Coaching: Ability to motivate a sales team and drive performance improvement. Analytical Skills: Analysing complex sales data to make informed, data-driven decisions. Communication: Acting as a key liaison between the sales team and upper management. Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively to manage different locations within the assigned region.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Experience & Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with 3+ years of experience in solution selling or industry-specific sales (e.g., SaaS, FMCG). Leadership & Management: Ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a regional team. This includes setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets. Strategic & Analytical Skills: Capability to create regional sales plans, analyse competitor activity, and interpret market trends. Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for managing stakeholder relationships and negotiating with clients. Operational Management: Experience in managing distributor networks, including evaluating their profitability and infrastructure. Technical Proficiency: Mastery of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is generally required. Personal Traits: A self-starter with a "hunter" mentality, resilience, and high adaptability skills

This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients, while working to increase sales and revenue within the region.
