An Airbnb co-host helps a property owner manage short-term rental day-to-day operations, though the primary owner retains legal accountability, control of payouts, and final decision-making. Core Responsibilities • Guest Communication & Support: Answer pre-booking inquiries, coordinate check-in and check-out instructions, answer questions during stays, and write or respond to guest reviews. • Help Guests check in and help Guests check out • Lean Cleaning & Turnover Coordination: Schedule and inspect cleaning staff after check-out, and ensure linens and toiletries are restocked. • Maintenance & Vendor Oversight: Act as the main point of contact for local handymen, repairs, or emergency support. • Resolution Center & Damage Claims: File reimbursement requests or handle property damage claims through host protection channels on the owner's behalf.
