Responsibilities
- making of furniture (wardrobes, cabinets, tv units, beds, etc)
- Read detailed architectural drawings, 3Ds and blueprints of projects to be worked on
- Prepare and set up machines and tooling for woodwork manufacturing
- Operate woodworking machines
- Ensure that products meet industry standards and project specifications, adjusting as necessary
- Use handtools to trim pieces or assemble products
- Maintain machines and tools, such as by cleaning and oiling them or replacing worn blades
Requirements & Skills
-Should be able to make estimates and cutlist
- Should be able to work with MDF, Laminate plywood, chipbord and other modern interior finishing materials for the making of kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, tv units, beds, etc.
- Should be able to install doors
- Should have knowledge in wood finishing
- Should have knowledge in interior design
- Should be comfortable working with hardwood
- Should be able to work with hand tools and machines
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- At least a high school certificate or equivalent
- Should have undergone somekind on training/ apprenticeship
- Four (4) to Seven(7) years working experience
- Should have hand tools of your own
- Not more than 45yrs old
