JHS Teacher Wanted

Teaching & Academic Duties - Teach assigned subjects to JHS 1-3 according to the approved GES syllabus - Lesson planning- Prepare scheme of work, lesson notes, and teaching aids weekly - Assess students- Set tests, quizzes, exams and mark them promptly Classroom & Student Management - Classroom control- Maintain discipline and a conducive learning environment - Student welfare - Monitor students’ academic progress, behavior, and wellbeing - Guidance & counseling- Mentor students on academic and moral issues - Attendance - Take and submit daily attendance School & Administrative Duties - Attend staff meetings and participate in school programs - Collaboration- Work with other teachers and management to improve school performance - Uphold ethics- Be a role model in punctuality, dressing, language, and conduct

1. Academic qualifications - minimum:diploma in basic education - must have studied relevant subjects: math, english, science,social studies, etc. 3. Other skills & documents - subject competence- good command of english + subject area you’ll teach -classroom management- ability to handle jhs 1-3 students - team player - works well with other staff & management - passion for students’ academic + moral development.
