Responsibilities
Brands4LessKids is looking for a friendly, confident, proactive and sales-driven Customer Service & Sales Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting walk-in customers, managing telephone and WhatsApp enquiries, processing website orders and driving sales across all customer channels. The role also involves maintaining shop presentation, replenishing stock and ensuring customers receive excellent service.
The ideal candidate must be persuasive, customer-focused and capable of turning enquiries into actual sales while supporting the daily operations of the shop.
Requirements & Skills
* Welcome and assist walk-in customers, identify their needs and recommend suitable products.
* Actively drive sales through upselling, cross-selling and promoting special offers.
* Manage incoming telephone calls and respond promptly to WhatsApp enquiries.
* Process and monitor website orders, ensuring accurate and timely fulfilment.
* Follow up with customers to convert enquiries into completed sales.
* Assist with product displays, stock replenishment, pricing and shop organisation.
* Maintain excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally.
* Record daily enquiries, sales and customer follow-ups.
* Meet assigned sales targets and submit daily sales reports.
* Support the day-to-day operations of the shop.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
* Minimum of SHS education; a diploma in business, marketing or a related field is an advantage.
* Previous experience in retail, sales or customer service is preferred.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Confident, persuasive and comfortable recommending products to customers.
* Good telephone and WhatsApp etiquette.
* Basic computer skills and ability to use websites, spreadsheets and online order systems.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Honest, reliable, punctual and detail-oriented.
* Ability to work in a busy retail environment and as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn about baby, maternity and children’s products
