The Water-Jel G9672C Heat Shield Blanket is a 6 ft × 8 ft (183 × 244 cm) emergency burn and fire-rescue blanket supplied in a durable, portable canister. Designed for large-area burn emergencies, it can completely wrap a casualty while helping cool and protect burned tissue. The 100% worsted wool blanket is saturated with a water-based, water-soluble, bacteriostatic and biodegradable Water-Jel cooling gel. It may also be used during fire rescue to extinguish flames and smoldering clothing and provide thermal protection. The blanket is easily deployed from its protective canister and is suitable for industrial, emergency-response and first-aid applications. Shelf life: 5 years from date of manufacture.
