The Samsung HW-Q800A is a better 3.1.2 soundbar than the Samsung HW-Q700A. While they have very similar designs, the HW-Q800A has a better-balanced sound profile with a more extended bass, so you can feel the deep thump and rumble in action-packed movie scenes. Both setups have poor surround sound performance since they lack dedicated satellite speakers.
